We do our best to try and follow the Weston A. Price Foundation’s diet recommendations. One of those is taking 1/2t of fermented cod liver oil every day. We take a lower dose because we eat lots of our raw butter! 🙂 If you are ever interested in joining us on a group order through Green Pasture, just let us know. I’ve been reading and reading about this but I am so worried I won’t be able to stomach it! How bad is the taste and are there any tricks to getting it down??
LOL! This is a GREAT question! 🙂 Bad news is – it DOES taste terrible. Good news is – the taste doesn’t last long. Our advice is to have a big glass of raw milk ready to “chase” down immediately following your spoonful. By the time you’ve finished your milk, the fishy taste is gone. 🙂 I know there are “flavored” ones you can get, but they cost more, so we’ve never tried them. Our boys have been good troopers about it – they know it’s not an option NOT to take it, so we all “suffer” it together & laugh a lot along the way! 🙂
