We bought the last of ALL the bananas at our local grocery store this week… Spent an evening peeling & chunking them for freezing.
I guess we should be set to make our kefir shakes for a little while, lol! 🙂
Sadly, our Waynesburg IGA is closing its doors very soon. 😦 Even though we didn’t need to shop here a lot, it sure was nice to have it for when we DID need something. Ours prayers go out to all the people who have lost their jobs, and for our community – at the loss of another local business.
I used to stop there occasionally before getting milk sometimes. It’s too bad it’s going out. The I
GA in East Canton went out a couple years ago but just reopened as a Save A Lot grocery. Maybe your store will reopen too.

Yes, perhaps it will. 🙂

Have you ever heard of a Yonana? I won one from one of the Dr Oz show online contests this past winter. I is a special blender, you freeze the bananas (and/or other fruit) and it blends it into yummy ice cream 🙂 I’ve only used it for just bananas but which was a little too banana-y for me but I want to add pineapple and strawberries. Planning on trying my hand at kefir soon!

No – never heard of a Yonana, lol. Makes me think about making ice cream soon, though! One of the flavors we like to make is banana. I’ll try to “blog it” when we make our first batch… 🙂
